CHESSMEN joint action meets in Lisbon for mid-term review

The Intermediate Meeting of the CHESSMEN Joint Action took place on June 17 and 18, 2024, marking a key milestone halfway through the consortium’s duration.

All Work package leaders presented updates of their activities and identified issues for joint discussions.

Participants were welcomed by the President of the Executive Board of INFARMED, I.P., Rui Santos Ivo, who stressed the importance of the project to address medicines shortages in the European Union. The European Commission and the European Medicines Agency have also actively participated in the meeting.

CHESSMEN joint action is a project coordinated by the AIFA Agenzia Italiana del farmaco.
